Leandra has completed both Paddocks courses in the last year, the UCT (Law@Work) Sectional Title Scheme Management course and the Home Owners’ Association Management course. Read what Leandra had to say about her experience with Paddocks.

Leandra Mouton is a portfolio manager for D.G Ladegaard Real Estate CC in Vanderbijlpark, which has been a prosperous company for over 57 years. In her spare time she loves reading a good book, going out, riding her off-road bike and spending time with her husband.

She manages a home owners’ association and 13 sectional title schemes, some are situated on the banks of the Vaal river. She has only been working for about two years at D.G Ladegaard Real Estate and previously worked as an assistant to an attorney, and therefore came into the industry with no experience or knowledge of anything related to property!

Leandra has completed two Paddocks courses in the last year – the most recent presentation of the Home Owners’ Association Management course this year and the UCT (Law@Work) Sectional Title Scheme Management course in 2010.

Leandra has this to say about her experience of the courses, “All your questions and concerns get answered by the next day. As soon as you start with the course you already feel support from Paddocks. The emails and messages they sent have saved me a few times from forgetting an assignment, when I am busy with my work. But the workshop is really my favourite, I have enjoyed the time I spent with fellow students; more things fell in place as every thing got discussed. I can now say that I have taken the Companies Act and sectional title to heart, and anything is possible.”

She says that these courses have helped her tremendously as a portfolio manager and that she would definitely recommend them to anyone involved with home owners’ associations or sectional title schemes, be it owners or managers.
