About this template
A member may be present in person or be represented by a proxy at meetings of the body corporate. No person may act as a proxy for more than two members of the body corporate.
This is prescribed Form C, which must be signed by the member and the proxy and be delivered to the body corporate 48 hours before the meeting time or handed to the chairperson before the meeting starts.
A proxy can be anyone other than the managing agent or a body corporate employee. Co-owning members must jointly appoint some person (who may be, but need not be one of them) as their proxy.
Law: Section 6(5) of the STSM Act and PMR 20(5), (6) and (7).
