About this template
An owner must repair and maintain the section in a state of good repair. If the owner fails to do so and that failure prejudices the stability of common property, the building safety, the body corporate or other members or occupiers, the trustees must, except in an emergency, give the owner notice to do the work.
If the owner fails to carry out the required work, the body corporate can itself do the work and recover the costs.
Law: Section 13(1)(b) and (c) of the STSM Act and PMR 31(2).
This form can be signed by any authorised trustee or agent.
