Community schemes, including all sectional title schemes, home owners’ associations, share block schemes, retirement schemes and housing cooperatives have buildings that need regular repairs, maintenance and replacement. Much of this work involves using machinery and working at heights and thus requires training, equipment and supervision to comply with occupational health and safety (“OHS”) legislation.
Who Should Attend
This course is for those owners, scheme employees, managing agents and other service providers who wish to understand the law and practical implementation of OHS legislation. It gives a credible qualification and market authority to anyone who wishes consult to a community scheme on issues of OHS compliance.
