Student feedback - UCT (Law@Work) Sectional Title Scheme Management course

Managing agents and portfolio managers, estate agents, attorneys, scheme auditors and accountants, trustees, property developers and dispute resolution service providers are a few of the professionals who have attended the UCT (Law@Work) Sectional Title Scheme Management Course in the past.

The practical application of the rules and laws advised against real life situations are most helpful. I enjoy the practice quiz and games the most.

I am an owner of a sectional title apartment and one in a share block. I have always volunteered my services and realised during this course just how much I have learnt on my own just by being involved. The course is great because it reinforces what I already knew and I have learnt other new facts which I have not yet come up against.

The discussion forum helps me think about actual situations that take place and it gives me examples to what I learn in the modules. My ultimate favorite learning tools is definitely the games and the quiz.
 
This is my first online course ever; I really enjoyed it. Paddocks provides all the necessary information and explains the work to the best of their ability. The discussion forum is the most interesting part of the course I enjoy best; because it allows all of us to participate and share our thoughts and experiences. In the end we all share our experiences and knowledge. We are always learning from other students experiences. I find that there is always new problems that can help each individual in their current portfolio if and when they have such problems to solve. As sectional title has changed so much over the years, I felt a need to gain more knowledge to help me have a more hands-on approach to my job as a sectional title portfolio manager. Our company has now made it a stipulation that all new sectional title portfolio managers register for the course as well as all current sectional title staff.

I now feel more confident in the answers that I am supplying to my clients and it has definitely broadened my knowledge of sectional title.

The online quizzes were a good way of testing one's knowledge as the new modules were introduced. I felt the assignments were the most beneficial as it made one apply the knowledge gained from the modules together with our real life situations in the management of our own complexes.
